Sarah and Roo (that’s short for Andrew in case you were wondering!) got married in Sarah’s home parish of Long Wittenham, not far from my own childhood stomping ground. They held the reception at the lovely rural Fison Barn, part of Earthwatch and which sits below Wittenham Clumps. They had a fantastic day and went along with my requests for standing in long grass looking romantic and kneeling down in a field dotted with cow pats – that’s my kind of couple!
After the service we all headed down the road to Fison Barn, which looked gorgeous with colourful paper pom poms and fairy lights. For a bit of a cerebral workout there was a Geography quiz, capital of Angola anyone?
